It also allows them to easier fill in for one another should anyone be absent.

Now you’ve got your team in place, it’s time to make sure that you’re using them properly. The practices that have been revolutionising manufacturing lately are all to do with efficiency. You may have heard of Lean manufacturing recently and how it helps eliminate waste and maximise production. Take a look at some of the practices and apply them to your business.
Another important practice to make sure you get nailed down is that of safety. Make sure that all equipment is maintained or replaced as soon as it starts to break down. Keep the workplace free of clutter and safety equipment in plentiful supply. Have adequate signage reminding people of the safety precautions necessary in that part of the factory. This is a good way to continuously remind them of their training.
